(via) The portable, book-like Lumio light that folds open/on and closed/off was making the rounds a couple of years ago via a Kickstarter campaign. Fast forward two years and they’re well into production, having exceeded their $60,000 fundraising goal by over $500,000. Designed by architect Max Gunawan, the blonde maple or dark walnut lovelies are now selling for $190 USD each.
