I saw a blanket at Old Faithful today. It came from The Woolen Mill on the Cannon River in Faribault, Minnesota, which for some reason made me think of this Will Ferrell beer commercial. a $160 blanket. should be titled: ‘vancouver, what’s wrong with you?’
I would rather have a PEI made McCausland Blanket any day. Been in business since 1932, is affordable, and uses 100% pure virgin wool. Plus, I can buy their yarns and make a very nice sweater to go under my Orange Waxed Canvas Outward Bound Anorak from the 1980s. If only Jones Tent and Awning was still around, I’d get them to remake my Dad’s Eiderdown Sleeping Bag he bought their in the 1930s.
