by Sean Orr | Tell Us the Truth, We Can Take It. I think WE can handle it, but keep in mind that a large portion of this province still get their news from, yup, The Province. I don’t think they want to know how badly the liberals messed up the economy and the social safety net. I don’t think they want to hear that at this point we might actually need the HST.

The Tyee on the Arizona Shooting. “Steady poisoning of US political culture led here. Can that culture now take responsibility?” Unfortunately, that country has been killing their leaders for a long time. A tragedy to be sure, but I’m more worried about that culture taking hold here. Enter Kimball Cariou: “My beef with Stephen Harper and Don Cherry”.

Oh, and don’t forget the Harper’s buddy calling for the assassination of Julian Assange. There’s a demonstration on the 15th.

Meanwhile Harper plans to build $800M ‘Taj Mahal’ in Ottawa for spy agency and more prisons. So at least he’s doing his part by planning ahead.

Someone asks the Vancouver Sun, ‘How do you punish columnists who make grammar mistakes’? Make them read Tea and Two Slices?

Graphic video: Kelowna RCMP Police Brutality Investigation. Watch the cops drop-kick some guy in the face. Or don’t.

NDP Party to find new leader in ground breaking reality series… Har har.

Sparks fly in Vancouver’s sizzling electro scene. Oh god, it’s so cute to see them try! PS I’m pretty sure none of that is electro, unless I’m just mad they didn’t mention Tassels.
