The Yike Bike was released today. Invented by Kiwis and powered by an electric motor, it goes up to 6 miles on a half hour recharge and folds up nice and easy. It might be extra light, just 10kgs, but the price is wicked heavy: $4,500 (USD) for the entry level version.
Extra credit: how long before we see our spandex Mayor zipping around on one of these?
