Surrounded by breathtaking city and harbour views, the expansive 8,500 sq ft resort-style spa is an oasis of serenity, located on the fifth floor at Fairmont Pacific Rim. This stunning retreat offers nine spacious treatment rooms including a couples’ suite with a Japanese-style deep seated soaker tub, nail salon, steam rooms, experiential shower, a full fitness centre, and a movement studio. Two of the private relaxation lounges have cozy fireplaces while the third, reserved for men is club-like in its décor and has an oversized television. French doors open to private outdoor landscaped terrace with Jacuzzi, mineral bath, infrared sauna, loungers and fire pits – perfect for guests to relax and rejuvenate pre or post their spa experience.

Treatments, a full sixty or ninety minutes, take place in rooms that reflect Vancouver’s sea and sky with soft colour palettes of blue and dove-gray. The air is softly scented with a hint of pine, reminiscent of a day in the forest. Fluffy terry bathrobes and slippers cocoon guests during their spa journey, with soft linens and oversized duvets used to tuck spa goers in – following treatments, guests are met with an energy revitalizing house-made juice.

Located on the sixth-floor pool deck, The Nordic Spa offers a seasonal outdoor thermal spa that guides guests through a true hydrotherapy experience, with state-of-the-art cold plunge tubs followed by solace in the therapeutic cedar plank sauna.
