Yeast Van | Nickname | Due to the recent explosion of craft breweries in East Van, it has earned the nickname Yeast Van. Storm, Parallel 49, Coal Harbour, Strathcona, Callister, Powell Street, and Bomber Brewing (together with a slew of others) occupy the industrial area that stretches from around Clark Drive to Victoria Drive.

Usage: “Oh, Yeast Van is about beer? Phew! I was totally worried that it was about something else…”
