Dorf | Nickname | Dorf is short for The Waldorf, a hotel and multi-room entertainment venue built in 1947. Best known for its Tiki Bar (one of the oldest in North America), it enjoyed a magical, three year renaissance beginning in 2010. Its ultimate fate remains unknown, as it was sold to a condo developer in 2013.
