by Sean Orr | Pressure mounts: Vancouver’s homeless numbers rising again. The only thing worse than this as a reality is that people like City Caucus and Mike Howell will use it to attack the Mayor who, albeit foolishly, promised to put an end to homelessness in Vancouver while ignoring – as usual – the other two levels of government.
We hate bureaucracy! PS. More bureaucracy! Cyclists should undergo a test and carry ID before being allowed on road. Seriously? How about this instead: Province writers should undergo a test and carry ID before being allowed to write, and no one over 50 is allowed to be published.
As Morningfile asks, “If a mandatory helmet law is seen as a hindrance to increasing the number of bicycles on the road, then what sort of adverse effect would a rules test have on participation?” Wait…what? There’s a mandatory helmet law?
Meanwhile, News for Youse documents the millennial craze/zombie apocalypse unfolding as we speak. Damn those other countries!
Apparently, bath salts are to blame. Behind closed doors: The addictions you don’t see. “With kids, we’re seeing things like over-the-counter medication and sniffing substances to get high”. Next, News 1130 is going to tell us that kids drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes, and that the newest craze is eating herbal incense.
Heartless thief steals teenager’s wheelchair. Theft is theft, no? What if the guy needed for his Mom all of a sudden? Calling it “heartless” is moral relativism. Just saying.
City of Vancouver considers removing downtown viaducts, increasing park space. Nearby residents were busy preparing to complain about off-leash dogs, basketball court users, and more “bike activity”.
Bonus: The most popular places to take pictures in Vancouver.

Regarding the viaducts; has any cyclist considered that they will have to run an additional 4 to 5 lights, climb a hill and pay additional taxes before they finger everyone who happens to drive a car. Just saying…
speaking relatively everything you write is moral relativism. Just saying. heartless outside of your neighbourhood is your calling card.
