Cross Your Fingers For This Piece By Katie So At Tonight’s Waitless Raffle

waitlesspiece

Waitless is taking over The Lido tonight for an evening of drinks, live music by VAPID and, of course, art — all in support of WAVAW (Women Against Violence Against Women).

I’ll be raffling off donated works by Ali Bruce, Nomi Chi, Rachel Pope, Shannon Elliott, and Katie So during the course of the evening.

This is your chance to own a one-off WAVAW original piece created by an incredible Vancouver female artist and have a great time while acquiring it.

Kaite

Katie So’s piece, Reflect, is going to be fought over. It came from a series of paranormal-themed illustrations that Katie developed while considering the importance of personal support and self reflection. The simplistic line work and translucent overlay mimics the ideas of strength and vulnerability that are illustrated. This piece has punch and gives anyone who lays eyes upon it a burst of super woman power.

Artist: Katie So | Piece: Reflect, 9×12, ink on paper
Price: By raffle | Gallery: The Lido, 518 East Broadway | Thursday, July 9th, 8pm – late
