‘Party of 5’ Skewers & Wine Event is Back September 7th, and the Lineup Looks Sweet!

The countdown is over: tickets for this year’s ‘Party of 5‘ event have dropped, and if last year is any indication, they won’t last long. It’s all going down this Saturday (August 24th) from 4pm to 10pm at the Garden Villa Courtyard (127 East Pender Street).

UPDATE :

Word is that there’s going to be plenty of rain on Saturday, August 24th. To avoid soggy skewers, event organizers have decided to postpone Party of 5. Everything you were looking forward to about the event stays the same—the location, the rad chefs, the delicious food, and the tasty wine—but it will now take place on September 7th. If you have a ticket and need to cancel, you can, or you can simply transfer it to the new date. And if you don’t have a ticket yet, what are you waiting for?

This time around, Party of 5 are switching things up with a semi-new lineup of culinary talent. Joining the party are Linnea LaTourneau (Nimmo Bay Resort), Bobby Milheron (of Tableau Bar Bistro fame), and the lovely Keith Allison (Pizza Coming Soon)… as well as superstar Lina Caschetto (Say Hey Cafe & Deli) – because, let’s be honest, it wouldn’t be the same without her – and the most energetic of all: yakitori chef, Pete Ho. Add to that already stellar roster: Kelcie Jones (This Is Wine School), who has once again been enlisted to take charge of the wine pairings to complement each chef’s charcoal-grilled creations.

For the single ticket price $65, you’ll not only score a taste of each chef’s skewer, you’ll also get to enjoy two five-ounce pours of natural wine, personally selected by Jones. And don’t worry, there will be non-alcoholic options for those steering clear of booze. Take a look at the menu:

There are three service times available for this year’s ‘Party of 5’: First Service (4-5:30pm); Second Service (5:45-7:15pm); and Third Service (7:30-9pm). Set against the vibrant backdrop of Light Up Chinatown, which also kicks off this weekend, this will be an extra nice and delicious time!

We already said it once, but it bears repeating that these tickets are a hot commodity… So if you’re serious about getting in on the action, now’s the time to secure your spot!
