Final ‘Summer Sizzler’ Goes Down This Saturday with Five Ciders, Music, Snacks and Fun

If you didn’t get the chance to check out one of Sunday Cider‘s Sizzler events yet this summer, fear not! There’s still one more opportunity to get your fill of the season’s most deliciously fermented fruit beverages, on Saturday September 16th. The stars of the event include a limited amount of Sunday’s apricot-y collab with local distillery Sons of Vancouver and the debut of the Sunday Greyhound – a cider and white grapefruit juice blend made with pink sea salt. Also, making its comeback is the Sunday Wild, a “wild fermented cider made with 100% Okanagan cider apples including Kingston Black, Dabinett and Michelin.” In total, expect five ciders flowing, music from the Pacific Rhythm Selectors playing and street food from Hand Taste Ferments for noshing. The Sizzler is entirely family-friendly (furry members included) so mark your calendar and head on down to the cidery for a rad send off to the summer!

Pro tip: Saturday is also your last opportunity to get Sunday Cider growler fills until next year, so be sure to grab a few while you’re there! The nights may be too cool for park drinks but, after a long day of work sipping on the flavours of summer from the comfort of home will surely make the transition into fall a little easier!

Sat, September 16th | 1-8pm | Sunday Cider (outside) | 1575 Vernon Drive | Free Admission | DETAILS
