Emily Carr to Open New Campus with “Big Reveal” on October 27-28

Emily Carr University of Art + Design has officially moved into its new Great Northern Way campus! To celebrate, this Friday and Saturday (October 27th and 28th) ECUAD is opening its doors to the public for The Big Reveal – an art-packed campus warming event.

Highlights include the alumni retrospective art show, 88 Artists from 88 Years, an exhibition exploring our relationships with the Pacific Ocean (The Pacific), “a community weaving project, open studios, print demo’s and giveaways, a digital graffiti wall, animation screenings, motion capture demo’s and much more.” Cap it off with some fabulous art from the Alumni Art Market.

Bonus: It’s supposed to be a warm and sunny weekend, which means there’s no excuse for not taking advantage of the University’s free and environmentally-friendly bike valets (both days) and shuttle busses (Saturday only). See you on campus!
