Eames Office Chairs That Arrange Themselves With A Clap

There are six chairs around Scout’s office table. As a rule, they’re neatly arranged and the table is totally cleared every night before we turn our attentions to life beyond the website. We do this so that the workspace we return to each morning is a welcoming blank slate of possibility. It’s a great way to bracket the day, but by noon it will have degenerated – like most office environments – into a mess of coffee cups, laptops, papers, and chairs haphazardly pushed and pulled away from the table’s edge (basically a low-grade OCD nightmare). So we’re looking forward to the broad advent of self-parking chair technology, which is demonstrated in this video by Nissan to promote their self-parking cars. As soon as they do an Eames version, we’ll pounce!
