‘Burgundy Week’ Returns to Published on Main for Its Second Run, Feb. 15-23

Published on Main’s ‘Burgundy Week’ is back for its second year – and it’s happening this month for nine-days-only, from Saturday, February 15th through Sunday the 23rd. If you have even a passing interest in wine, then it’s probably about time you started pretending you already knew about it!

Fresh off a stint pouring at the Burgundy En Primeur tasting in Hong Kong, Published Wine Director and Burgundy obsessive, Jayton Paul, has curated a lineup for the event that includes everything from Domaine Duroché and Maison Leroy, to Armand Rousseau (aka, the stuff that makes wine people go quiet in reverence for a moment). There’ll be bottles. There’ll be by-the-glass pours. There’ll be the kind of mineral-driven whites and expressive reds that make you momentarily consider quitting your job and moving to Beaune…

But here’s the real power move: half-priced corkage fees (regularly $50, now only $25!) for anyone who shows up with their own bottle of Burgundy in-hand. That’s some serious BYOB energy to pair with your Michelin-starred dining experience! And frankly, that sounds like it’s hitting just the right chord, and is something that we think this city’s restaurant scene could use more of. It’s also simply a nice ‘win’ for those with well-stocked cellars, or just a really nice bottle that you’ve been saving for the right moment (this is it). Pair it with Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson’s menu and we’re pretty sure you can successfully affect an attitude like you were planning for this all along.

Speaking of planning: don’t forget to lock in your reservation for Burgundy Week here ASAP!
