A&B Sound | A local electronics and compact disc (remember those?) retailer known for legendary Boxing Day sales. A&B Sound’s aggressive pricing policy made Vancouver famous for cheap record prices. Its flagship store was on Seymour Street and comprised a “Record Row” of sorts with neighbours Sam The Record Man, Noize, Trax, and Odyssey Imports. The company went bankrupt in 2008.
