Rock Shop | Place | Before Granville Street turned into the bar star embarrassment that it is today, it was a slightly seedy strip with ¢25 peep shows, street kids, and exotic entertainment at the Cecil. One rite of passage for local teens back then was (and remains) a pilgrimage through the Rock Shop, home to weed paraphernalia, Nirvana shirts, and other alternative novelty items.
