Rockpile | Nickname | The BC Legislature in Victoria known to locals as The Rockpile. The parliament building was designed by a young British architect named Francis Rattenbury in 1897. It is most remarkable for its 33 copper domes and striking Romanesque exterior, which features an andesite facade.
