by the Editors | Around the Scout office this morning, we learned about the timing of the fuzz targeting file-sharing site Megaupload, but felt little sympathy once we saw that the website’s honcho had tasteless douche tendencies (whip that jackass!). We got a kick out of Freddie Wong’s new video, The Golf War (fore!) and this 21 year old 20/20 profile on David Bowie (we could be heroes!). We mourned the loss of Etta James, Tuesday’s passing of Johnny Otis, and the death of Canadian skier Sarah Burke (so sad). We dug the sandwich art of Brittany Powell (weird) and the look of the Trevi Aerating Wine Glass (must have). We took a few moments to appreciate the timely street art of Pavel Puhov (see above) and got freaked out at Kirk Fitzpatrick’s life-like prosthetic busts of Beavis and Butthead (keep that shit away!). We thought about making Nutella-coated bacon for breakfast (ugh), but quickly forgot about it when we remembered that today was the start of Dine Out and Feast Van (stoked). We got hooked on cabin porn (SFW), and were amazed to learn that the Captain of the ill-fated Italian cruise liner ordered (and ate) his dinner after crashing his ship (WTF). We were momentarily mesmerized by this Indiana Jones-inspired engagement ring (yay nerds!), and were tempted by the growing trend of eating with your hands (beast mode).
