So there’s this cool little experimental space in Chinatown called – appropriately – The Chinatown Experiment. They’ve hooked up with an equally cool little group of pedlars to bring you the latest in objects that you should probably own. It’s called Mutts & Co. ~ Variety Store, and it opens with a launch party this Friday night. Expect clothing by Muttonhead, snappy footwear from Strathcona Stockings, leather accessories by Wülf Work, housewares by Twenty One Tonnes, Potato Stamp Cards by Potato Stamp Cards, the This is East Van community photo book, and so much more (check the full list and Facebook event page here). If you can’t make it Friday night for the opening, don’t fret. The Variety Store will be up and running 11am to 7pm daily until October 14th.
