Vancouver, BC | There are very wonderful beers being brewed by Scottish brewery Innis & Gunn. The Irish Heather is one of the few in the city to feature them on tap. What makes Innis & Gunn so interesting is that their beer is aged in whiskey barrels, giving it a delicious flavor and beautiful color. When we learned that a pal who works for Innis & Gunn in Edinburgh was coming here on vacation we jumped at the chance to have her host one of the Long Table Series dinners. On Tuesday, the 11th September, our friend Leila Arfa will introduce you to a special 2 course Innis & Gunn LTS. In addition to a pint of the classic Innis & Gunn poured at the Heather, Leila has brought a real treat: “Treacle Porter” – for the first time in Canada (not yet available for sale).
