The Fiddlehead Joe’s space on the False Creek seawall has been picked up the Daniel Hospitality Group (Mill Marine Bistro, Delilah’s, etc) and will soon open as an easygoing comfort food joint called the Burrard Bridge Marine Bar & Grill, just in time for summer. The seating will be the same/similar to that of FJ’s, with 60 seats inside and another 60 on the sun-soaked patio. More from an email courtesy of the owner, Daniel Frankel:

Interesting… any idea on when we’re going to see this new space open? Looks like it’s pretty soon!
I was never impressed with Fiddlehead’s food. Aside from the fiddlehead concept that they had, it was a bit bland, and experiences were always underwhelming.
Mill Marine has one of the best waterfront patios in the city. Foodwise was not bad either.

not surpized …. the food was kinda boring and the staff were never focused on selling and being friendly to the paying customers…. i would also see good old joe himself enjoying the patio too much with custmers waiting … too bad… i wander what joe is doing now?
