The Stewart family – a third generation, Okanagan wine family – has been part of the community for more than a century. Three generations have helped to build Quails’ Gate into the award-winning winery that exists today. The pursuit of viticultural and winemaking excellence has remained the driving force behind everything we do.

At Quails’ Gate Winery, our belief is that great wine starts in the vineyard. As a second-generation winery, we take great pride in having been grape growers for over 50 years. We’ve been able to research the best selection of vines for the valley and the best techniques to use to grow them. This has given the winery some of the most mature vinifera plantings in Canada along with the most extensive selection of mature Dijon Pinot Noir clones.


Named one of the Top 100 Restaurants in Canada, Old Vines Restaurant is an all-seasons culinary destination, open year-round. Chef Roger Sleiman and his team create spectacular dishes made from the freshest local ingredients, providing guests with a true taste of the Okanagan.
