A message from Vancouver Farmers Markets:

“You might be aware that the Trout Lake Farmers Market will need to move to a temporary location for the next couple of seasons due to construction of the new Trout Lake Community Centre.  The temporary location that has been proposed is the North parking lot at Trout Lake.

The Park Board Planning and Environment Committee meets on April 8th to discuss the approval of this move, and we would like your support if you feel strongly about the need for the Trout Lake market to stay at the park.  If defeated, the society would need to find another location elsewhere in the city for vendors to sell.
