The GOODS from The Biltmore Cabaret

Vancouver, BC | Halloween is nigh upon us, and while as a kid you could only go out carousing for candy on the 31st, as an adult the holiday can be celebrated all week long. The Biltmore Cabaret is featuring a host of events that run the gamut from an off-the wall midweek Ping Pong Club Night – arguably the most unique Halloween event in city – to the 5th annual rock’n’roll barn-burner that is the Sumner Brother’s Hallows Eve, right through to the much loved Glory Days Halloween (AKA Gory Days). Events run from Friday the 25th through to Thursday the 31st, culminating in a night hosted by Glory Days x Rad Times. Learn about it all after the jump…

Friday, October 25 – A Sumner Brothers Hallows Eve V with Ben Rogers, Hallow Moon, The Wild North & Brandon Wolfe Scott (of Yukon Blonde)

The Sumner Brothers 5th annual All Hallows’ Eve, with Ben Rogers, Hallow Moon, The Wild North & Brandon Wolfe Scott (of Yukon Blonde). These parties always slaughter (and are prone to selling out) so getting tickets in advance is highly recommended. With a photobooth to document all your stellar outfits, prizes, & much rock ‘n’roll.

Saturday, October 26 – Color Magazine & Antisocial Present: Glory Days Halloween With special guest WIG deejays Tyler Fedchuck & Matisse, hosted by Jane Smoker.

Wednesday, October 30 – Ping Pong Club: Halloween Edition! Hosted by Michael “The Hunger” Unger with music by DJ Dustin Bromley.

Round-The-World style elimination tournament – we privide the tables, paddles & balls, You provide the talent! The most unique Halloween event in the city, and a great night out with friends or a date on a dime. Cheap drink specials, tunes, prizes, & fun!

For over 50 years, the Biltmore has been a fixture in the community as both a public house for Vancouverites and a platform for groundbreaking musical performances.

With the revitalization of historic Mount Pleasant, the bar was reopened in 2007 as The Biltmore Cabaret, with a fresh focus to recapture its musical tradition.
