The GOODS from Abigail’s Party

Vancouver, BC | Next in our monthly cask ale line-up is R & B Brewing. That’s this Tuesday, March 8th. From the firkin will flow the ESB: East. Side. Bitter. It’s not your typical English ‘Extra Special Bitter’, as R & B uses a combination of English and local malts to create the beer’s subtle, malty canvas wherein hops are the main attraction. Northwest hops (and lots of them) are added to the kettle as well as a ridiculous amount added post-fermentation to give it its unique aroma and crisp, refreshing finish. Its almost too easy to drink, and pairs just fine with a pot of deep-fried Iranian pickles! And who doesn’t love an Iranian pickle?

Next up is Howe Sound Brewing on April 12th, leading us up to Vancouver Craft Beer Week in May for which we’ll have a nightly cask featured with dinner pairings. Cheers.
