The GOODS from Abigail’s Party
Vancouver, BC | In celebration of Vancouver Craft Beer Week this week, Abigail’s Party is tapping two very limited release casks from local beer magicians R & B Brewing.
Tuesday (tomorrow) we tap a cask of Raspberry Sun God Hefeweizen. Traditional German yeast gives this beer its slightly cloudy appearance, and a very generous amount of raspberries creates it its off-pink colour. On the palate are subtle wheat and strong raspberry notes, resulting in a seriously sessionable & refreshing beer.
This Thursday we tap a cask of Wild Turkey Oak Stout – actually aged with Wild Turkey bourbon-soaked oak. The beer is deep black in colour with notes of vanilla & bourbon on the nose. On the palate, it’s creamy and smooth with a hint of smoke and roasted coffee. This is unbelievably good beer.
Abigail’s Party opens nightly for dinner service at 5:30pm, both casks will be tapped at 6:00pm with sleeves at $5… Pull up to the bar or reserve a table at www.abigailsparty.ca.
