Vancouver, BC | Designer, Katherine Huie, created Foe and Dear in a tiny, sweaty apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, during the summer of 2009. Now currently based out of beautiful Vancouver, Foe and Dear has made a name for itself in the fashion industry and is being carried by lovely boutiques all across the country.

Foe and Dear is a combination of vintage/new chains and charms to create one of a kind jewellery. Experimentation with unique and exotic materials ranging from brass, to 14-karat gold, to precious stones makes Foe and Dear a blend of mystery and romance, reminiscent of stories both whimsical and dark. Each Foe and Dear piece is handcrafted and made with love from start to finish.

With Foe and Dear, Katherine Huie creates timeless and meaningful jewelry that is handcrafted in Vancouver, BC. Delicate and refined with an appreciation for intricate details and quality craftsmanship, the Gold Collection showcases sleek and modern pieces that are influenced by astrology, alchemy and iconography.

This is an exclusive, one of a kind collection for Cavalier that is hand carved and cast in 18-karat gold. Katherine has selected to support the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation, which 5% from each pieces sold will go towards.

As owners with significant connections to the local music industry, Dane and Keith enjoy using a musical analogy when describing the variety of their collection. If equated to a radio station, Cavalier would be playing everything from underground hip-hop to classic rock to the latest indie buzz band.
