The GOODS from Caffè Artigiano

Vancouver, BC | Western Canada’s favourite home-brewed coffeehouse is starting the new year with a spate of new coffee offerings roasted in-house at Artigiano Roasting Co.. Ranging from floral aromas with hints of cherry and apple to the more tropical with touches of pineapple and plum, Caffè Artigiano is premiering three new coffees to titillate the discriminating palates of its customers: Rwanda Kigeyo, Sulawesi Toarco Tana Toraja and Kenya Ruarai.

All three are available by the 12 ounce bag, ranging in price from $16 to $22 for whole-bean varieties, and as brewed cups served in house by award-winning baristas at Artigiano locations. Coffee can also be purchased online with shipping available across North America. In addition to its newly debuted brews, Caffè Artigiano has also served up yet another way to ensure the quality of its ingredients: in-house coffee roasting via Artigiano Roasting Co.

To maintain Artigiano’s focus on creating the perfect cup of coffee, the chain opened a new roasting facility in Burnaby, B.C., and began roasting its own beans in the fall of 2012. Coffees are sourced globally through relationships with the best importers and producers the world of coffee has to offer.

“The decision to roast our coffees ourselves means we can keep a close eye on the quality,” says Michael Ratcliffe, Head Roaster for Artigiano Roasting Co., whose expertise is in refining and perfecting specialty coffees. “Our philosophy on roasting stems from the belief that each of our coffees has unique characteristics that are revealed through roasting. Every batch is methodically profiled, roasted, and tested to ensure we showcase these natural qualities.”

About Caffè Artigiano

Interior-01

When it comes to the best quality coffee and espresso, Caffè Artigiano is in a league of its own.

Regarded as North America’s premier coffee-house chain, Caffè Artigiano launched in Vancouver in December 1999 with a vision of an Italian-style coffee house and bistro that offered superior coffee, excellent food and a lively-yet-comfortable atmosphere. Today, the company is famous for its quality and is well known for it’s stunning ‘latte art’—a unique rosetta, tulip or heart atop each cappuccino and latte served. Guests enjoy the warm atmosphere rich with rustic-meets-contemporary Italian flare.

Caffè Artigiano is proud to have won numerous accolades over the years for its team of highly skilled professional baristas, who ensure that each cup of coffee is poured to perfection. Caffè Artigiano holds the title of Canadian Barista Champion from 2003 through to 2009, and is the only company in the world to compete at the World Barista Championships more than once..,seven times.

Visit us for the best coffee, espresso or latte in Vancouver and, stay for the food and enjoy the atmosphere. There’s no better time to visit one of Caffè Artigiano’s three new West Broadway locations.

Sit back with a heart-topped latte and a golden Italian panini, and enjoy a taste of what many believe is the World’s Best Coffee.

  1. Very, very pleased they are offering their storefront/coffee bar here in Burnaby attached to the roasting facility. That’s the way to share the community. Looks pretty good from the street as I have been staking it out on my bike rides. Parallel 49th has been roasting their beans here in Burnaby (actally same neighbourhood as Artigiano here) for years but do not have any presence at all in the community with shops just in Vancouver. Divano in Burnaby Heights features a couple of their blends. That’s it.
Anyway, Artigiano has the best robust blend around and I’m really looking forward to their coffee bar here in my hood!!
