Following the recent closure of the bookstore next door, the owners of The District Social House in Lower Lonsdale have taken over and are knocking down the dividing wall in a bid to expand from 50 to 92 seats.

Some of the additions will include an original 1920’s fireplace that they uncovered during demolition, and a 20 foot long communal table that will act as the space’s focal point.
