Thanks for posting our PSA – we’re really pleased that it’s been so successful in highlighting the issue of food waste and hunger in our city. City Harvest will rescue more than 25 million pounds of food this year that would otherwise have gone to waste. We’ll deliver that food to agencies that help feed the more than 1million New Yorkers who struggle with hunger.
And rest assured, no apples were harmed (or wasted) in the making of the ad!
