Beaucoup Bakery Shares New Lunar New Year Collection for Year of the Rabbit

The Goods from Beaucoup Bakery & Cafe

Vancouver, BC| Lunar New Year is almost upon us and the kitchen team at Beaucoup Bakery (2150 Fir Street) are busily handcrafting treats for the upcoming Year of the Rabbit. Guests can now pre-order limited-edition items from its Lucky Rabbit Collection online, including a whole Mango Yuzu Cake, gift boxes, cookies, an Oolong Peach Tiramisu, and a savoury Golden Goose Croissant.

“The Year of the Rabbit is known to symbolize auspiciousness, cleverness, and positivity,” says Betty Hung, who co-owns Beaucoup Bakery with her brother Jacky Hung. “Our collection features several rabbit motifs throughout to honour the quiet but thoughtful zodiac sign. They are meant to be shared or gifted, a Lunar New Year tradition as people visit friends and relatives. We have several new cookie flavours, including my new favourite – the scallion pancake cookie. And the Golden Goose Croissant is the ultimate pastry snack.”

The Lucky Rabbit Collection can be pre-ordered online now for pick-up between January 20 to January 22, 2023. Items are also available directly in-person at the bakery.

The Lucky Rabbit Collection features:

Mango Yuzu Cake ($38.88; serves 6-8) with light sponge cake, mango cremeux, mango chunks, and yuzu mousse
Lucky Rabbit Gift Box ($68.88) with five treats inside, including a croissant palmier , sesame butter puff sticks, a yuzu financier, rabbit sablés, yuzu marmalade, and one Holy Duck OG Chili Oil
Lucky Rabbit Cookie Box ($38.88; 18 pieces) with flavours including Coconut Pandan Mango Macadamia, Snowballs, Scallion Pancake Cookies, and Oolong-dipped Sablés
Oolong Peach Tiramisu ($8.88; single serving) with oolong créme brûlée, vanilla infused peaches, peach tea soaked ladyfingers, brown sugar boba pearls, and oolong mascarpone cream
Golden Goose Foie Gras Croissant ($9.88; single serving) with Chinatown BBQ’s BBQ Goose, foie gras, truffle sauce, plum sauce and jam.

“We thank our customers for being so supportive of our business in the last few years,” adds Betty. “We hope our guests will enjoy our new Lunar New Year offerings and have the chance to celebrate this year. We wish everyone good health, happiness, and prosperity.
