Get to know more about your native plant species neighbours by signing up for a morning plant walk through Strathcona Community Garden on Sunday, August 28th. Over the course of two hours, knowledgeable guides Erica Ellis and Matthew Williams will be touching on topics including the medicinal, cultural, and culinary uses of some indigenous BC plants; plus there will be storytelling and journalling, and participants will get to sip on tea made using some of the highlighted ingredients. Participation is available on a sliding scale, from $5-15. DETAILS
