The GOODS from Sonora Resort
Sonora Island, BC | For one evening only, experience an exclusive Taste of the Islands as chefs Justine Smith and Lukas Gurtner of Sonora Resort, chef Albert Tran of Edible Canada, and Vancouver Island Brewing create a multi-coursed and beer-paired culinary journey on March 24, 2020 at Edible Canada (1596 Johnston Street, Vancouver).
Smith, Gurtner, and Tran all worked together at Sonora Resort for a few seasons when Gurtner was still executive chef. Both Smith and Tran were Gurtner’s sous chefs. Gurtner was recently named Sonora Resort’s culinary and beverage director.
“This is Sonora Resort’s first collaboration dinner in Vancouver and we couldn’t be more thrilled to work alongside our friends at Edible Canada and Vancouver Island Brewing,” says Smith, executive chef of Relais & Chateâux Sonora Resort on Sonora Island, BC. “British Columbia just has so much to offer, and we cannot wait to showcase the bounty of the islands next month.”
