Vancouver, BC | This weekend, La Tana welcomes design company Barter to the Commercial Drive caffè & alimentari for a two day Pop Up to celebrate the launch of Barter’s new dinnerware line with a festive, pre-holiday season gathering and giveaway!

Vin brulé is a version of mulled wine enjoyed in Piemonte, in northwestern Italy. It’s a perfect choice for holiday entertaining because you can double or even triple the recipe and leave it over very low heat, ladling it out as your guests come in from the cold. ~ Lidia Bastianich…and ladle it out they shall!

Guests to the La Tana x Barter Pop Up will be warmly received with Italian mulled wine, or vin brulé, served in Barter’s beautiful, minimalist clay cups and introduced to a selection of artful an d practical, locally made clay pieces, in addition to the full dinnerware line in seven different clay bodies, by Kenneth Torrance, Barter designer. The minimalist forms of the pieces celebrate the nature of the material above all else; made with durability and sustainability in mind, the Barter line of dinnerware has been tested in commercial kitchens and is ideal for homes and holiday giving.
