Vancouver, BC | Bauhaus is expanding our team and looking for passionate line cooks and dish washers. This is a great opportunity to work in a creative environment with a good work-life balance. Open for lunch 1 day per week. Dinner service 7 days per week.

Line Cook

– Minimum of 1 year experience in a fine-dining restaurant is an asset
– Basic food handling and preparation knowledge in a fine-dining restaurant is an asset
– Positive, can-do attitude, Strong work ethic and high standards for quality
– Team player who builds trust with colleagues and can be relied upon for their honesty and integrity.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
– Eager to learn and continually improve
– Superior organization skills, attention to detail and cleanliness.

Dishwasher:

Main Responsibilities include but not limited to:
– Operating a dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, cutlery, and food service equipment
– Maintaining cleanliness of the food preparation and dish machine areas
– Putting away clean dishes to respective areas
– Setting up and cleaning dish machine area
– Empty garbage and moving it to dump site
– Maintain quality and speed of output.

Competencies:
– Ability to multi-task
– Flexibility with schedule and available to work nights and weekends
– cleaning and organizational skills
– Must work well under pressure
– A great attitude and a team player is a key
– Attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently. Basic food handling and preparation knowledge is an asset.
