The GOODS from Fable Diner
Vancouver, BC | The team at Fable Diner is looking ahead to a new season with the launch of a brand-new Happy Hour service offering must-try food and drink specials throughout the week. Available weekdays from 3 to 5 p.m., daily from 9 to close, and all day on Tuesdays from 3 p.m. onwards, Fable Diner’s new Happy Hour menu includes afternoon snacks, entrées and late-night bites that showcase a tasty range of modern diner classics made with quality ingredients.
Highlights include a Pulled Pork Fry Bowl with pickles and onion($10), the Rosti Toasti served with a choice of roasted duck and kimchi or smoked salmon and guacamole ($8), and a Burger & Beer combo featuring the diner’s signature Main Street Burger – a 4 oz. patty topped with American cheese, mayonnaise, relish, mustard, onions, ketchup and pickles all served on a Mix Bakery bun – paired with a beer for just $12. Crowd-pleasing soups, salads, burgers and sandwiches are rounded out with a few more new additions for fall such as Eggplant Chips and Hummus, a made-from-scratch Veggie Chickpea Burger, and Smoked Albacore Tuna Salad.
To drink, guests can imbibe in Happy Hour feature beverages likes $4 red and white wine from Stone Road, $5 glasses/$15 pitchers of house-made sangria and $4 Red Racer Hopped Lager.
On the sweet side, Classic Milkshakes (chocolate, vanilla or strawberry) will be $1 off during both afternoon and late-night Happy Hour services, and there will be a decadent selection of nostalgic diner-style desserts on offer such as Mini Doughnuts ($8), House-Made Cupcakes ($3), and a retro Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae ($8).
And just in time for back-to-school season, Fable will also be launching a new After-School Special starting Tuesday, September 3. Perfect for sharing, the sweet-and-savoury afternoon snack is available from 3 to 5 p.m. and features two classic milkshakes served with a side of fries for $10.
All dishes on the new Happy Hour menu can be enjoyed in Fable Diner’s bright and airy dining room in the historic Lee Building at Broadway and Main Street or ordered for take-out or delivery in eco-friendly compostable takeout containers.
