Richmond’s Origo Club Gives a Supplier Shout Out to The Chefs’ Warehouse

Scout works with a lot of local restaurants to get the word out about the cool and delicious things they’re doing, but they couldn’t do what they do without access to awesome ingredients. To get what they need, culinary creatives depend on personal networks of passionate artisans, farmers and producers who often work hard without ever seeing the glory they deserve. Since it’s always good to recognize those who have your back, we bring you the Supplier Shout Out!

Today we take a short trip to Richmond’s Origo Club to find out where Pastry Chef Qingqing sources the high quality ingredients going into her dessert menu delicacies…

Which one of your suppliers do you want to give a shout out to? Chefs’ Warehouse.

What does this supplier supply you? Valrhona chocolate.

How are these ingredients featured on your menu? The Coeur Noir is created with this ingredient. It’s a gluten-free chocolate mousse cake, with chocolate glaze and chocolate chips available at Origo Club for $8 each.

What makes this supplier so special and why are you excited to use this item in particular? Chef Qingqing loves working with them because of their service and timely delivery, and this ingredient in particular due to its high quality and consistency.
