Vancouver, BC | After celebrating its 20th anniversary earlier this year, Vancouver’s award-winning downtown dining destination Gotham Steakhouse & Bar has launched a new weekday ‘Social Hour’ to celebrate summer.

Available Monday to Friday from 3 to 6 pm and 9 pm until close, the must-trySocial Hour Menu offers guests the chance to indulge in great-value drink specials paired with all items on the lounge menu available for 40% off during both the early and late-night Social Hour services.

In keeping with Gotham’s classic-meets-contemporary approach to American steakhouse fare, the lounge menu showcases the best of land and sea with a lineup that includes fresh oysters, prime beef sliders and jumbo shrimp cocktail, as well as a number of vegetarian-friendly options such as Portobello mushroom fries and roasted cauliflower.

Guests can sip solo or get social with a group while enjoying local on-tap beers for $6, well highballs for $6.50, handcrafted signature cocktails for $8, featured wines for $9, and 40 percent off all champagne and sparkling wines.

Gotham’s new Social Hour food and drink specials are available exclusively in the restaurant’s intimate 60-seat lounge and on the 45-seat outdoor patio. Tucked away inside the Art Deco-style heritage building on Seymour Street, the sun-soaked patio is an urban oasis featuring lush vines and greenery, a cozy outdoor fireplace and a live DJ spinning al-fresco tunes during Social Hour every weekday.

As part of the restaurant’s longstanding commitment to delivering a superior dining experience, Gotham also hostsa rotating roster of talented local musicians and DJs who provide live entertainment in the bar and in the lounge from Tuesdays to Saturdays throughout the week. Featured musicians this summer include fusion guitarist Dave Martone and jazz and pop singer-pianist Bryant Olender.
