North Vancouver, BC | We have an exciting position available at our North Vancouver restaurant! The Head Chef will have an eye for detail and a pallet of passion. As the Head Chef you will oversee kitchen procedures, ensure all targets are met, be mindful of quality control, and have strong communication with all team members.

Our 60 seat restaurant and butcher shop serves up the best dry aged burgers, cooked over our open fire grill, alongside beautiful rotisserie chickens and tallow fried French fries. While our customers’ food is cooking, they can pick up some beautiful meats and house made charcuterie to take home and fill their fridge.

Job Type / Category

The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced environment with customer service the #1 priority. As Head Chef the ideal candidate will be able to interact with customers in our open concept kitchen.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of management experience in a restaurant environment
Excellent technique and cooking skills
Ability to deliver a high-quality product
Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and reporting
Experience with inventory procedures and reporting
An honest passion for gourmet food and beverages
The ability to lead by example and to develop a dedicated team of 15
Extremely organized with superior time management skills
Red Seal certified or equivalent
A flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the business
Team Player: 1 team, 1 goal
