Upcoming ‘Hives For Humanity’ Garden Party Will Be the Bees Knees

On Thursday, July 25th, Hives for Humanity will host people and pollinators at a special private garden party in Dundarave (West Vancouver). This is a rare opportunity to learn from the beekeepers not only about why bees matter but also about the local organization’s various projects, all in a beautiful and pollinator-friendly garden. Even better, you can taste some products of their combined labours for yourself. We’re talking HfH honey, Honey Chamomile ice cream from Earnest, mead from Humblebee Meadery, and chocolate and coffee from East Van Roasters.

There are two openings for the garden party: once in the afternoon (2-4pm) and again in the evening (5:30-7:30pm). Tickets are $65 for either and proceeds go directly to Hives for Humanity’s initiatives.

Supporting the bees helps everyone, so do some good and get your tickets here now.

Hit East Van for the 2nd Annual Vancouver Brewers Fest, April 19-28th

Since a single person (and liver) can only handle so many beers and beer-drinking celebrations, some prioritizing is in order. Topping off our list of events is the imminent (and, in our opinion, non-negotiable) Vancouver Brewers Fest.
