Tenth Annual Celebration of Ribs (and Canada) Set for Mamie Taylor’s on July 1

Vancouver, BC | Calling all BBQ fans! The tenth annual Canada Day RibFest comes to Mamie Taylor’s on Monday, July 1, sponsored by Strange Fellows Brewing and Rebel Yell bourbon. An Eastside Canada Day tradition, the cook-off competition will see chefs and master grillers from some of the city’s top restaurants meet over the flames of competition at Mamie Taylor’s in Chinatown.

Starting at 2pm on Canada Day, the grills at 251 East Georgia Street will be fired up and Mamie Taylor’s Chef Jonas Hamre will welcome one and all for an afternoon of Ribs and good times:

Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, Mamie Taylor’s will be serving a variety of $15 rib platters featuring different styles of Ribs and sides of coleslaw, macaroni salad and corn on the cob.
