Vancouver, BC | Summer is always exciting as it means seasonal change, and a change in what is fresh and available,” says Jim Vesal, Director of Culinary. “This year we are headlining one of our biggest menu rollouts by launching three new pizzas, a new and updated Margherita and the return of a classic.”
The new menu will include a Street Corn Pizza, Sweet Pepper + Sausage Pizza, Mac + Cheeza, and the return of the popular Pesto CBR, plus a Succotash Salad. “Our Street Corn pizza is a smoky and fresh combination of charred corn, fresh lime and cilantro, while our spicy Sausage and Pepper pizza, brings together savory house made Italian sausage and our signature hot honey,” says Vesal.
In addition to the new pizzas, Virtuous Pie is adding four new ice cream flavours: Saffron Rose Water, Salted Caramel + Chocolate Pretzel, Thai Tea, and Chocolate. “We went eastwards with our Saffron Rosewater ice cream, combining the floral flavours with pistachios for a great treat on hot summer days,” says Vesal. “We’ve had many requests for a classic chocolate, so we’re keeping it simple with a creamy chocolate made from a coconut and cashew base.”
