Vancouver, BC | Bauhaus restaurant is seeking a full-time bartender. The ideal candidate will have wine knowledge and be experienced in creating handcrafted cocktails.

Duties

– Full bar service including wine, beer, and craft cocktails
– keep the bar program current and up to date.
– create original seasonal cocktails
– has extensive wine knowledge
– comfortable serving the bar seats
– cleaning and maintaining the bar and equipment.
– Maintaining inventory and bar supplies
– Making drinks in a quick and efficient manner

Bauhaus serves a seasonal-changing tasting menu which showcases creativity and imagination and an a la carte menu which offers a “for the table” selection with the option of choosing individual items that are perfect bites to share, while the “mains menu” is larger plates created to either share or to enjoy as a main course. The family style menu concept is a take on traditional German cuisine having the comfort and heart of a German grandmother’s kitchen with a modern touch.

Bauhaus has had the honour of being highly-acclaimed. Recently it was listed as a restaurant to watch by The ‘World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ Diner’s Discovery Series. The list is considered the “next generation of dining destinations”. Bauhaus was listed as one of the best German bars and restaurants around the world by CNN, the new global face of German cuisine by Wine Enthusiast, 100 Best Restaurants in Canada and Where Magazine Awards “Best European”.
