Boozy Talks Geared Towards Restaurant Pros Kicks Off Monday at Odd Society Spirits

Vancouver, BC | In partnership with Rough & Tumble, Odd Society Spirits presents Odd Talks the last Monday of every month starting Monday, May 27. With the intention of sparking spirited conversation, and camaraderie amongst those who work in the hospitality industry, Odd Talks is a series of inspiring educational talks paired with elevated cocktails. Drinks are prepared by some of Vancouver’s finest bartenders and topics range from distillation to honey terroir, to the science of the hangover. Building on previous success, the team at Rough & Tumble have curated an evening for the curious-minded that is a foray into the weird and wonderful.

The inaugural Odd Talks takes place at Odd Society Spirits (1725 Powell St.) on Monday, May 27 with the first topic of conversation being opening a distillery: cautionary tales and anecdotes from Gordon Glanz, founder and distiller of Odd Society Spirits. No tickets required and space is limited. Doors open at 6pm.
