Volkswagen Van Driven Out of the Alpine Forest It Was Lost in 40 Years Ago

In the short film Resurrection, a Volkswagen enthusiast hears tell of a 1955 VW panel van that was driven into a dense patch of woods in the French Alps 40 years previous. He was able to track it down and contacted the landowner, who agreed to sell it to him the next day.

Instead of getting a tractor to tow his amazing find out of forest, he decided to camp out with some VW specialist friends who brought the parts required to restore it on-site back to running condition. Before the sun set the following day, he was able to drive it out of its boreal tomb and back down the mountain.
