Parkside Brewery Three-Peats at Fest of Ale

The GOODS from The Parkside Brewery

Port Moody, BC | Another year at the Okanagan Fest of Ale, another successful trip to the winner’s circle for The Parkside Brewery from Port Moody, BC.

With 75 of BC’s best craft breweries in attendance at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre – and over 190 beers sent in for judging – Parkside was the lone brewery to take home Gold in two separate categories: Best Specialty IPA for Dreamboat Hazy IPA and Best Wheat Ale for Dim Wit Belgian Wheat Ale.

Sam Payne, Co-Owner and Director of Sales at Parkside Brewery called the victories, “an exciting achievement and another great compliment to our brewery teams’ efforts and dedication.”

In just three years since opening their doors, Parkside has quickly established itself as a major awards contender at the festival, adding this year’s multiple wins to previous victories in the Best Pale Ale category (Dusk Pale Ale, 2017) and Best IPA category (Humans an IPA for the People, 2018).

If you haven’t had a chance to visit their spacious Tasting Room on famed Brewers’ Row in Port Moody, it’s a must-add to your summer checklist (and a quick 30 minute Skytrain ride from Downtown)! Or if you just want to get your hands on one of their award-winning beers, check your local government or private liquor store this weekend!
