Little Juke Brings Back Show-Stopping Turducken Feast for Easter, Readies 4/20 ‘Derek’ Sandwich

The GOODS from Juke Fried Chicken

Vancouver, BC | The bird’s the word this Easter as Juke Fried Chicken brings back their popular Turducken Feast for pick-up exclusively at their Little Juke location (1074 Davie Street) on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21.

Juke’s Easter Turducken Feast feeds six to eight people and includes pre-sliced turducken — a three-in-one showstopper featuring roasted turkey, duck and chicken — accompanied by large sides of fried Brussels sprouts, herb-roasted potatoes, fennel pork and pistachio stuffing, Cacio E Pepe fried cauliflower, and country biscuits with whipped schmaltz as well as a nostalgic package of marshmallow Peeps.

That same weekend, Juke will also cater to the 4/20 crowd with its secret, crowd-favourite sandwich ‘The Derek’ (fried chicken, cheese sauce, pickled cabbage and jalapeños sandwiched between two liège-style waffles) served with a side of rolling papers for $10. Offered for one day only on Saturday, April 20, the ‘sandwich-and-spliff’ feature will be available for dine-in and take-out exclusively at Little Juke.

ORDERING | A limited number of Juke’s Easter Turducken Feasts are available for $169 plus tax and can be ordered by emailing [email protected] before noon on Wednesday, April 17. All orders will be ready for pickup at Little Juke (1074 Davie Street) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21.

ABOUT JUKE FRIED CHICKEN | Juke is the reason the chicken crossed the road. Launched at 182 Keefer Street in 2016 by Justin Tisdall, Chef Bryan Satterford and Cord Jarvie with a second counter-service outpost called ‘Little Juke’ that opened at 1074 Davie Street in 2018, Juke has quickly carved out a reputation for serving up an elevated-yet-fun menu comprising the city’s best Southern-inspired fare. Beyond its trademark gluten-free, non-GMO-grain-fed and free-range fried chicken and sticky pork ribs available to eat-in or take-out, Juke’s two locations also feature a mouthwatering selection of seasonal snacks, salads and sides as well as an array of signature cocktails, wine and local craft beer available by the pint, bottle and bucket served up in casual, inviting spaces that encourage guests to turn up, tuck in and kick up their heels.
