(via) I thought this Forbes video was a late April Fool’s Joke at first because the first lines of it sounded a little funny.

“Most model makers are outcasts who don’t fit in anywhere else because all we’re capable of doing is making tiny versions of things. And ultimately if I wasn’t doing this I couldn’t think of doing anything else. It’s an in-built desire to make tiny things.”

Of course the fellow is very serious. And why not? It’s a lucrative trade. I started getting envious about 43 seconds in, and not because some of the models are sold for as much as $150,000 each. It was that sexy, stripped down-to-metal racing Spitfire…
