Vancouver, BC | On Valentine’s Day, enjoy a relaxing evening over a six-course dinner for two at downtown Vancouver’s Royal Dinette (905 Dunsmuir Street). The one- night only menu features seasonal, local ingredients such as BC oysters, beetroot, house made pasta, sablefish, and a brioche bread pudding – hallmarks of head chef Amanda Healey’s signature Canadian, farm-to-table cuisine. Guests also have the option to add-on wine and cocktail pairings to celebrate the occasion.
“We wanted to create a menu that highlights the sharing aspect of dining on Valentine’s Day,” says Healey, whose cooking philosophy focuses on introducing guests to approachable seasonal, quality-driven food. “But most importantly, we want it to be a fun experience between couples, friends, or loved ones. There will be no set seating times – we don’t want anyone to feel rushed so they can truly enjoy each other’s company with good food and drinks.”
