Delicious Valentine’s Day Plans Set for Pourhouse, Pizzeria Farina and Di Beppe

THE GOODS FROM KITCHEN TABLE

Vancouver, BC | A trio of Kitchen Table Restaurants are giving lovers plenty of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year with a variety of couples-friendly specials at Pourhouse, Pizzeria Farina and Ristorante di Beppe on Thursday, February 14.

POURHOUSE (162 Water Street)
At Gastown destination Pourhouse, bartenders Adam Domet and Sabrine Dhaliwal will shake up complementary ‘His and Hers’ cocktails to mark the occasion. Domet’s ‘L’Amour Rouge’ is a sweet and citrusy bubbly bevvy with a red hue courtesy of a house-made raspberry-and-butter-washed bourbon, while Dhaliwal’s ‘Cupid’s Love Spell’ mingles full-bodied cognac, Cocchi Rosa and bittersweet Amaro Averna for a strong sipper that is sure to enchant fans of classic cocktails. That evening, the Pourhouse kitchen will also cater to couples by offering a feature entrée of Cornish game hen for two served with sage and caraway, chestnut gnocchi, roasted cabbage, pan sauce and grated chestnuts as well as a shareable dessert special of apple galette with a flaky crust, toffee sauce, Chantilly and cinnamon. The Ben Lockwood Trio will also help set the mood with live jazz music from 7 to 10 p.m.

PIZZERIA FARINA (915 Main Street)
For one night only, Vancouver’s beloved Pizzeria Farina will be offering its signature heart-shaped Margherita pizzas for all the lovers to share on Valentine’s Day. Topped with tomato sauce, fior di latte, olive oil and basil, the Insta-worthy 12-inch pies will be available for $16 starting at 5 p.m. while quantities last for dine-in guests only.

DI BEPPE (8 West Cordova Street)
One of Vancouver’s newest Italian hotspots will let couples plan ahead this Valentine’s Day by offering reservations throughout the night to guarantee a romantic night to remember. Di Beppe will also be donating 10% of proceeds from all pizza sales to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in honour of the occasion.

ABOUT KITCHEN TABLE RESTAURANTS | A mainstay of Vancouver’s hospitality scene since 2009, Kitchen Table Restaurants places a premium on simplicity, integrity, giving back to the neighbourhoods in which it operates and the belief that the fondest memories are made at the kitchen table, not in the dining room. The brand made its first foray into the local market when it opened the comfort-food-and-cocktail hotspot known as Pourhouse in a heritage space in the heart of the historic Gastown District. In 2011, Kitchen Table set up shop on Main Street with the Northern Italian-focused Pizzeria Farina and in 2014 opened casual Italian eatery Ask For Luigi in the Downtown Eastside, which was awarded Restaurant of the Year, Best New Restaurant, Best Casual and Best Italian at the 2015 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards and earned a spot on the prestigious 2014 shortlist of enRoute’s Best New Restaurants. In 2017, Kitchen Table opened the doors on two new restaurants: the Quebecois-fare-forward St. Lawrence, which was singled out at Best Restaurant and Best New Restaurant at the 2018 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards, No. 4 on enRoute’s list of Canada’s Best New Restaurants and No. 20 on the 2018 compilation of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants, and the authentically Italian caffé-by-day, ristorante-by-night Di Beppe, which has quickly become one of the city’s most beloved eateries.
